El Pantalon

Filed under: Mexico - Gabriela @ 1:48 am

Yay, you made it over here.  I feel like I’ve invited people over to a messy house since this site is not how I want it yet, but I was getting so sick of Blogger that I had to make a change.

Anyway, here’s something I thought you’d enjoy.   This is one of the major landmarks in Big City.  It is called "El Pantalon", or roughly translated, "The Pants". (It’s really singular, "the pant", but you get the idea)

Pantalon

My kids love it and it provides endless opportunities for jokes.

Guapo’s most recent joke, "Yeah, I work in the crotch."

  3. Cool new place. Sorry about the bad beta. I’m glad you are still in Blogtopia BOFF, I feared you were going to wave adios and leave us without fun adventures from Big City.
El pantalon is hilarious (never heard of it), it would be so weird to say “Yes, I work at The Pants”.

You thought we’d enjoy your picture, and I sure did.

  4. I’m so happy to be able to comment. I’ve been trying and trying and couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t working. Are you staying here forever?

  6. Snort. You said “crotch”.

That really is just too wide open to not joke about. And I’m a little speechless about the maid thing. That’s funny/sad/upsetting/strange all at once.

  9. Its nice to know there is an architect out there with a great sense of humor. Is it just one company that works there? Perhaps a company that sells jeans?

I haven’t upgraded to beta yet, too many bad experiences out there. Just when we thought blogger couldn’t be more of a pain in “el pantaloon”, too.

  10. Let us know how this blogsome thing works out. I “bloglined” this blog so I can find you either place. I was so happy when I knew what “el pantalon” was and I even noticed that it was singular! Yay! LOL Does Guapo really work in the crotch?

  13. nice to know beta is buggy and bad- I thought everyone should make a pact not to jump ship so as not to suffer with the beta not beta
